Finding Your Dream Home
It seems everyone's "DreamHome" is just outside their budget. What we at KA recommend is before starting that search make a wants and needs list. Remember there is a huge difference between a "want" & a "need"!
For example, if you have 2 kids that are on different schedules and want their own space, a 3 bedroom home is a need. While on the other hand if you love dark hardwood floors and you want into a home with light ones, that is a want. Always ask yourself with "this" make me want to move in 3 years? If the answer is no then it is most likely a want and not a need.
Once you complied your list make sure you send them to us and your Realtor. This way we can make sure your MLS search is set up properly and when you come to us for advise we can refer back to this list. This list isn't set in stone and will alter throughout the search but it is a good starting spot.
----------------
Once your realtor sets you up on a MLS alert make sure you are checking your emails regularly. Each listing you will be able to give notes on the properties, the more notes you leave the better feel your team will have.
This will also help us make sure appointments are set for you right away!
There will be no need to continue searching on sites like Zillow or Redfin, The MLS is more accurate than any 3rd party site you might be searching on.
