Showings
There are a number of things to consider before setting finally look at homes:
-
Sellers require preapproval or proof of funds before showing their property. This ensures them that real qulified buyers are looking at their homes and no one is wasting time.
-
Remember that you are buying the home, and not the furniture or any of the personal items in it.
-
Inspections will take place after the home is under contract and in escrow, you do not need to test the A/C system or the water pressure yet.
-
Be aware there could be cameras in the home so hold your comments for after the viewing.
-
Remember this is someone else house still. As much as you might like or hate the home someone else lives there so be respectful.
-
If you are looking at multiple homes in a day be ready to take notes so at the end of the day you can recap what you saw with your realtor.
